As part of our Black Start-Up Project launch and community outreach, we will be hosting a roadshow event series across Atlantic Canada between April and May. RSVP today!
Tribe is inviting Black entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners to network, eat and talk about challenges and opportunities to help inform Tribe Network’s Black Start-Up Project programs and services that will propel Black entrepreneurship and innovation forward.

Nicole Obiodiaka | Senior Client Relationship Officer at BDC
Nicole is the president of the Black Student Association and a Senior Client Relationship Officer at BDC. Nicole is also the black student representative for CFS NL and the recipient of the Afropolitan Youth Leadership Award. She sits on ANC’s Black Voices Collective Committee.

Precious Familusi | Entrepreneurial Engagement Manager at BBI
Precious is a community organizer committed to combating anti-black racism, creating a clearer pathway to permanent residency for immigrants, accessible education, and community building. He is the co-founder of Black Lives Matter NL and host of Out of the Fog on Rogers TV. He strives to impact black youths within his community through his volunteer work.

What if more Black, Indigenous and People of Colour worldwide had the knowledge, resources and tools needed to succeed as entrepreneurs and innovators? And what if these supports were shared by us, for us?
Tribe Network’s Black Start-Up Project is a unique program to provide Black entrepreneurs and business owners – like you – in Atlantic Canada with access to programming, funding, mentorship, coaching and opportunities in the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem to help START, BUILD and ACCELERATE their business.
Black entrepreneurs who register can win up to $10,000 in prize money.
