How do you build meaningful relationships in business?

If you believe that networking and making business connections are important in entrepreneurship, you’re correct. The right network of supporters, mentors, and coaches can provide you and your business with the lived experiences and expertise needed to push your idea to the next level.

But whether we’re too embarrassed or shy to approach someone, or the efforts we’ve made don’t seem to be going anywhere, making business connections can be a big hurdle for many entrepreneurs.

In our Tribe Network Huddle this July 7th, we will identify the biggest pain points around making business connections and how to get professionals to take you seriously.

Note: all registrants will receive the Zoom link from marketing@tribenetwork.ca. Please make sure to check your spam or junk folder if you don’t see our email!

What will I learn?

In order to most effectively network, you need to understand how to get individuals to take you seriously and connect with them beyond simply getting a business card. In addition, one of the most critical skill sets that all professionals and entrepreneurs require is the ability to not only make a connection in person but also online.

Key topics we’ll cover in this virtual workshop:

  • How to maximize all networking opportunities.
  • How to invest in the “emotional/relationship bank account”.
  • How to and best practices around connecting using LinkedIn.
  • How to avoid awkward moments when attending an event/workshop/networking/interview session.
  • How to avoid “burning bridges” when it comes to your business relationships.
  • How to establish mentorship relationships and maintain them.
