My ancestors are black travellers from the south, and also I have Indigenous bloodline that I learned about back once I got out of high school.
I am interested in starting a new business simply because, It’s my dream that has become my reality. And it’s something I have been working on for many years, I also want to leave a legacy for my chiIdren to learn to be entrepreneurs themselves.
Can I ask what Business are you Pursuing? I’d like to Support in any way I can

Nice to meet you on Tribe what is your business ?
My ancestors are from Nigeria. My why for starting a business is essentially to challenge myself in a way I have never thought to. I enjoy braiding hair and designing nails, and have been doing it for a couple of years for myself and friends, so why not turn it into a business.
Nice to meet you what do you do in your business or profession ?
My ancestry cuts across the politically delineated countries (Berlin Conference 1884) known as Nigeria and Ghana. More extensively to hybrid cultures within more west African countries.
My why as a Non Profit Organization founder, is to bring about positive change to communities, lives and the world at large.
My family is from East Preston. I am a business owner of a not for profit society and for profit business. We are supporting marginalized individual and communities with disparities and deficiencies. Most people are living below the poverty line.
Bridget from the community of East Preston. My descendants are from Africa, Jamaica, USA, England, Native and Canada This has been an tremendous journey.

My ancestors are Ethiopian, the land of origin. My name is Semira Ahmedin Abdu. I came to Canada for my undergraduate studies. In 2019 I started an online business, and now I have an e-commerce platform and a store in Ethiopia. I export Canadian Brand Make-up and Skincare products and process individual custom orders from my customers in Ethiopia. I love expanding my services to include selling Ethiopian products to the diaspora and the global community. Ethiopia has unique cotton textiles, amazing leather products, the world’s best coffee, and many more. I want my services to include giving access to a digital marketplace for young Ethiopian designers.
Welcome to the Tribe Network Community,Semira!

I would be selling varieties of African products to wholesalers, retailers and end users across Atlantic provinces for now. My projected start date is 1st week of August 2023 as I have incorporated my business in February 2023. I need help getting a retailed store liquor permit as the two options given to me by the NSLC clearly say NO.
This is amazing to hear good for you . I pray it grows you store.
Thank you.
My ancestors are from North Preston and Amherst Nova Scotia.
I am starting a business because working for myself was always something I’ve wanted to achieve, working under someone else control was something that always made me feel stuck and made me feel captivated in one area and I have dreams to travel the world and help the young generation achieve dreams, goals, and get the help they seek. Its not easy to find people that are genuinely willing to help you find yourself and your purpose. I grew up never knowing where to start so I want to assist the kids that may feel the same way in the future and be their light of hope to let them know that anything is possible.
I agree a job will only give you a minimum amount of income working for self lots of work but the effort is worth it as long as you never give up.
