General Information

I’m Divjot Kaur, 21, with a lifelong passion for curating memorable events. Growing up in India, I organized local, small-scale events in my community, managing everything from planning to execution with help from friends and my sister. This early experience honed my skills in event coordination and leadership. In Canada, I served as a Canadian Ambassador for the HETS Youth League Association, where I successfully planned and executed various online events during the pandemic. Additionally, my role as Creative and Technical Coordinator at the WICCI UP Entertainment Media Council involved managing creative aspects and logistics for diverse events. As a board member of the Nova Noble Cause Society, I bring my event management expertise to community projects. My formal training includes a course in Program Planning from Dalhousie University in 2023. Combining my practical experience, observational insights, and mentorship from industry veterans, I strive to deliver exceptional event planning services through my business, Divjot Kaur: Event Planner.
