Ivan Okello is a dedicated change leadership professional currently serving as the Project Manager – of Antiracism Initiatives at the New Brunswick Multicultural Council. Originally from Uganda, he brings a wealth of experience from the post-secondary sector specializing in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, youth engagement, student success, cross-cultural competence, and anti-oppressive practices. Ivan is passionate about eliminating barriers to opportunity and facilitating access and equity for under-resourced and racialized communities. Ivan holds a Master’s degree in International Development Studies from Dalhousie University. He is also a proud alumnus of the Queen Elizabeth scholars' network.
