I've found a passion for translational science – transferring lab findings into technologies that directly benefit the members of our society. During my graduate studies, I focussed on understanding a biofiber manufacturing process, and understood how to control the process and resulting fibers. Today, I am working with a highly skilled team to use this technology to solve numerous engineering challenges from biomedicine to aerospace engineering.
