Devin's expertise lies at the intersection of his two passions: building innovation ecosystems and working with technology companies. Devin is responsible for leading the sector’s growth strategy which involves identifying, promoting, retaining, and securing investment, talent, and jobs. Devin has managed multiple strategic projects, which include: establishing the City’s first co-working space and incubator, championing the RIC Centre’s relocation to Brampton, securing an agreement for the Ryerson Venture Zone, and initiating Brampton’s Innovation District. Growing up and living in Brampton, Devin has a deep understanding of the community and is driven to make a real and positive impact towards building Brampton into a world class city to live, work, and play. Prior to joining the City of Brampton, Devin earned his MBA and P.Eng, and bridged his theoretical knowledge with hands-on start-up experience.
