My parents and ancestors are from Punjab, India and Punjab, Pakistan. I'm a writer, artist, and researcher with an interest in hopefulness, wellness and health research and consulting. I'm an uber-nerd with a BSc. (Hon) in Biology from Dalhousie University, an M.A. in Health, Policy, and Equity from York University, and a Ph.D. with a focus on Health Education from the University of British Columbia.
