Curated by Pitch Better Canada, the Summer Biz Soiree brings together women and non-binary entrepreneurs at all stages to brush up on their business development skills, sharpen their start-up elevator pitch and network with like-minded individuals in a safe space.

The business model canvas is a strategic management template used for developing new business models and documenting existing ones focusing on nine building blocks.
The Pitch Better Session
The Pitch Better session is a highly contagious confidence-building session for different types of entrepreneurs at different stages of their journey. It is meant to bring out the fuel in founders to help secure funding, contracts and other opportunities.
The Modern Hustle Collective Networking Session
MHC is building a close-knit community of women entrepreneurs from all across Canada who can lean on each other for resources, insights, business opportunities and sales, as well as a space to build interpersonal relationships with others going through similar things. Basically it’s like a club for Black women entrepreneurs who want to expand their reach outside of their city, region and province and connect to other Black women going through similar things. There’s a particular focus on helping women in rural regions get access to more like-minded women for shared connections.
